Overview
From August 2026, the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) will require producers to create a Declaration of Conformity for every packaging unit placed on the EU market. This significantly increases documentation obligations and makes complete, structured, and validated packaging data essential for compliance. Many organizations understand the requirement is coming, but are still unsure how to organize their data and build the processes needed to generate compliant declarations.
In this client webinar, we will explain what Article 39 requires in practical terms and show you how to prepare your packaging data using RLG’s standardized data template and structured upload process. You will learn how your data must be entered, formatted, and validated to ensure it can be used to create legally compliant Declarations of Conformity.
We will also provide a live walkthrough of the DoC Generator in the ALMA platform, demonstrating how your uploaded data is transformed into a structured, version controlled Declaration of Conformity with secure storage and export functionality. You will leave with a clear understanding of how to prepare your data now so you can generate compliant declarations efficiently before the August 2026 deadline.
