According to §14 Paragraph 4
In accordance with §14 Paragraph 4, 1. VerpackG
Reverse Logistics GmbH, a certified waste management specialist and service provider for waste management obligations, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reconomy Deutschland GmbH, Cologne, and has been part of the international Reconomy Group since December 2020. Together with Valpak, also part of the Reconomy Group and a leading system in the UK, and the German Reverse Logistics Group, Reverse Logistics GmbH is thus able to offer integrated return solutions for the European market.
Reconomy Ltd. is a leading provider of waste management and return solutions in the UK. Reconomy supports British companies – from SMEs to large blue-chip companies – in disposing of their waste in a responsible, sustainable, and cost-effective manner. For the Reconomy Group, the acquisition of Reverse Logistics GmbH is the first step towards internationalization.
According to §14 Paragraph 4, 2. VerpackG
“Information on the fees paid by the participating manufacturers per system-participating packaging put into circulation or per unit of mass of system-participating packaging.”
In the period from 2019 to 2021 (Q4), manufacturers paid fees to Reverse Logistics GmbH averaging approximately 23 cents/kg for system-participating packaging across all fractions.
According to §14 Paragraph 4, 3. VerpackG
“Information on the procedure used to select waste management facilities, insofar as they are not selected in accordance with the requirements of §23 VerpackG.”
In the context of the selection process for the contract partners of Reverse Logistics GmbH in the area of LVP transport and sorting contracts as well as the recovery of LVP and glass fractions, we attach importance to a trusting and reliable cooperation. To make decisions, we contact suitable contract partners and request corresponding offers. In order for potential contract partners to submit a well-founded offer, we provide them with all relevant parameters, such as quantity quotas and affected areas. It is particularly important to us that, in addition to a good price-performance ratio, we are as well-positioned as possible for our quantity flow proof. Against this background, up-to-date and valid certificates – such as EfB or final recipient certificates – are indispensable, among other things. In addition, we strive to select regional companies as our partners, wherever possible, in order to keep transport routes as short and environmentally friendly as possible.
