Responsible for
Focus on interpreting and implementing the EPR & environment compliances appliable on the PIBO, Recyclers and all the stake holders as per the E -Waste Management rule and CPCB regulation
Role Summary
  Plan Design, Filing & Follow-up with the internal departments and external stake holders to ensure the Business processes are aligned with the CPCB guidelines on the EWM, PWM, BWM and environment compliances, support and manage new business compliances and advocacy for RLG India. Organize & conduct training for internal & external stakeholder and Conducting Legal Compliance Audits for Supply Chain/Recyclers.
  Key Relationships
  Internal Stakeholder – Functional Manager- Compliances & Risk Management, MIS and Documentation, Sourcing Head, Sourcing Managers Operations Team, Operations Executive, all Internal departments   External Stakeholder – Company customers (senior officials), Regulatory State Authorities –SPCP etc. The company appointed Recyclers and Value Chain Vendor  
Key Responsibilities- Task and Activities
Environment Compliances & Waste management Rule management To assist in planning, designing, filing and implementation an effective EPR Plan for RLG India clients - encompassing environment, workplace, community and marketplace issues that will deliver agreed targets of Client for E-waste Management, Plastic Waste Management and Battery Waste Management as per Indian Legal Compliances, Rules and Regulations mentioned below: Must understand and interpret the following accurately for the Internal teams & external stakeholders EHS Standards EHS standards (Environment, Health, Safety) applicable to the respective Industry E-waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2011’ and 2016 which are based on an EPR (Extended producer Responsibility) approach Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 and 2018 which are based on an EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) approach Batteries (Management and Handling) Rules, 2001, 2010 Regulations and Rules of State and Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Provisions under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Tran’s boundary Movement) Rules, 2016. Guidelines for Collection and Storage of E-Waste, Plastic and Battery Waste Management Guidelines for Collection Centre that are part of E-waste, Plastic and battery waste channelization   EHS Audits / Site Audits /Compliance Audit Manage and Conduct environment and Business Compliance Audits as per the Department Audit planManage and Conduct Supply Chain/Recycler Audits - A regular and Strict Assessment of electronic recyclers or other electric /plastic/ battery waste recyclers working for the company. Based on the audit observations, conduct required Compliances Training for internal and external stakeholders and corrective action plan Communicating compliance-related issues and solutions to relevant stakeholders across the organization to ensure strict implementation for avoiding the reoccurrence of issues.Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation. Establish the operational risks, cause and recommend actions for prevention.  
Candidate Requirement
A Bachelors/Master’s degree in Environmental Studies / Environment Engineering /Waste Management / Environment Compliances from a tier I or II institute.Minimum 6 months of working experience as Compliance & Environment Specialties or relevant experience in MNC and Large OrganizationOther Relevant experience can also be considered. Detail-oriented; ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize projectsAbility to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writingProject management skills are preferred. Internal Audit skills are preferred.  International experience working in Environment protection sector is desirable
