Starting in 2025, obligated producers of single-use products, packaging, and paper products (PPP) and hazardous and special products (HSP) are required to submit a verification report alongside their annual supply data submission to the Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA).
All producers who submit annual supply data to ARMA must submit this verification report by June 30.

As the Global EPR Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Manager at Google, Elis leads a team dedicated to ensuring that the company’s devices, batteries, and packaging comply with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations worldwide. Her role involves collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to integrate EPR requirements into product designs and business models, aligning them with Google’s sustainability goals.
With over 13 years of experience at companies like Amazon and Apple, she has successfully led large-scale projects and cross-functional teams. She is passionate about advancing Google’s sustainability agenda and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Harpreet Dhawan, Principal Auditor at HDCPA
Harpreet Dhawan is an experienced CPA with over 25 years of experience in audit, accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance. He spent several years with PwC, specialising in regulatory compliance and audit. Furthermore, he is a licensed CPA in Colorado and holds both Certified Internal Audit and Certified Information Systems Audit designations. With a deep sense of professionalism and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional, results-oriented service, Harpreet takes great pride in his attention to detail, strategic thinking, analytical skills, and professional scepticism. Moreover, as the principal auditor at HDCPA, he leads a team of CPAs and other audit professionals. Together, they successfully deliver dozens of audits and verifications in the EPR and stewardship sectors each year.
Rachael Graziotto, Director, Circular and Compliance Solutions at RLG
Rachael brings over 7 years of remarkable experience within North America’s Extended Producer Responsibility space. Rachael specializes in sales operations and mobilizing programs for post-consumer materials, ensuring that materials make it to secondary markets, closing the loop, and making strides toward enabling the circular economy. She has designed and implemented cradle-to-cradle/grave solutions and reverse supply chain infrastructure for hard-to-manage materials, such as post-consumer pharmaceuticals and sharps. Additionally, Rachael has spent time in sustainability, which provides her with the knowledge of key metrics many companies report on and a lifecycle approach to looking for solutions. Academically, Rachael completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster’s DeGroote School of Business, is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (2019), and is a certified Project Management Professional (2023). In 2021, Rachael was one of the 40 recipients of the Waste360 40 Under 40 Award.
