Championing Circularity and Responsibility
As the world gathers in New York City for Climate Week 2025, RLG is proud to be participating in several key events, joining leading organizations and changemakers to drive conversations and actions around sustainability, circularity, and responsible production.
With circular economy solutions at the core of what we do, Climate Week provides an important platform to amplify our mission, collaborate with global partners, and help shape the future of sustainable systems. Here’s where you can find us during the week:
September 25: Special Gathering with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation
We’re honored to be invited to a special gathering hosted by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, a global leader in accelerating the transition to a circular economy. This exclusive event will bring together thought leaders and innovators working to rethink the way we design, make, and use materials.
RLG is excited to attend this unique opportunity to discuss the circular economy with experts and practitioners who are building the next generation of innovative business models.
September 25: Circular Economies at the Nest Climate Campus
As part of the Green Jobs Pavilion at the Nest Climate Campus, RLG will speak on a panel focused on circular economies and green workforce development.
We’ll explore how circular systems are reshaping industries and creating new opportunities for green jobs, innovation, and impact. It’s a vital conversation about building a future where sustainability and economic resilience go hand in hand.
September 25: IKEA’s ONE HOME, ONE PLANET Event
Later that day, we’ll also join IKEA for the ONE HOME, ONE PLANET event, also at the Nest Climate Campus. This session will focus on circularity and extended producer responsibility (EPR) — two areas where RLG brings deep expertise and global implementation experience.
As brands and governments seek to reduce waste and close resource loops, EPR is gaining momentum worldwide. We’re excited to discuss how companies like IKEA and service providers like RLG can collaborate to make circularity not just possible, but practical and scalable.
Why It Matters
At RLG, we believe that climate action and circular economy solutions are inseparable. By keeping materials in use, designing out waste, and aligning stakeholders across value chains, we can build systems that support both planetary and business health.
We’re proud to bring our experience and insights to NYC Climate Week — and even more excited to learn from others and spark new collaborations for change.
